Training needs analysis

What we can offer?

If you as an organisation already deliver training within the field of deafness/deaf blindness we are able to appraise the contents and learning outcomes and if necessary recommend alterations to match the requirements of national awarding bodies.

We can also carry out a training needs analysis of front line staff/service providers and design a specific training programme based on individual needs dependant upon the amount of/potential 'contact time' with deaf and deafblind people.

Research & development

Who is this for?

Many service providers such as voluntary organisations and public bodies deliver services to deaf people to a very high standard. These services may be distinct services or may be delivered via existing mainstream services.

We ae able to offer a sevice which would assist you to:

• Appraise existing service provision in line with funding/reporting requirements
• Identify unmet needs and service/support gaps of deaf adults and children
• Ensure that there is consultation and involvement of service users and community members
• Identify possible funding sources for future projects and activities.

We are able to run on your behalf projects which include services/training programmes.

From initial development to front-line delivery and final reporting/evaluation doccumentation.

• Signature (CACDP)
• NHS Education for Scotland (NES)
