Course Summary
This course raises some of the issues around awareness and communication tactics with deaf & deafblind people. It teaches basic communication skills and introduces resources available for communication with deaf and deafblind people. Barriers faced by Deaf/deafblind people accessing MH services

Training will normally take place from 9.30am to 4.30pm (lunch provided where available)

There is no charge for this course

Only one date submission per person

Confirmation will be sent by e-mail

You may attend a course closer to home for ease of transport - even if this is not your employing board area.

Members of the Scottish Ambulance Service may attend their local/nearest course. NHS staff from NHS Orkney & NHS Shetland may select their nearest course or whichever is closest to transport links.
