Videos for the Scottish Parliament

We are delighted to have been awarded the BSL video contract for the Scottish Parliament. This brings a responsibility to ensure that not only a high quality production is required, but also a very high standard of BSL presentation is delivered.

With the British Sign Language (Scotland) Act placing responsibilities on public bodies to produce information easily accessible for Deaf BSL users, the Scottish Parliament has to be seen to lead the way in terms of setting standards and bench-marking BSL video productions.

NHSinform accessible information

NHSinform Health Information Services asked us to produce an accessible BSL version of the leaflet ‘How the NHS handles your personal information. This was to be produced as video clip for display on their web pages and on authored DVDs.

Right to Social Security BSL/subtitled version

We were delighted to have been asked to take on the challenge of having the Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) video made accessible for Deaf BSL users.

Liam, who is a Deaf BSL user was ‘roped’ into being the in-vision presenter for this 3 minute (rather fast talking) clip. Job well done!
